@falx, I think people should call it as they see it. What some people call outstanding, I or you don’t. However, to get or be able to get an all around good image, it takes practice. If I rely on my perception only….I will only please the view with my exact same interests or likes. I was actually hoping you would have added to the rubbish. Like how you came to that critique. Now you have and I agree with you.

I was attempting to keep a “cool” feel to the image, but it doesn’t work with this one. I was having troubles with the clouds so I tryed to use a vignette, that too didn’t work.

, I agree with you on the post editing workflow. As stated above, I just felt like a “cool” picture, but the picture wasn’t “feeling” it like I was. Lol.

I respect all viewers opinions! I will be posting another photo shortly, a sunrise.

      Thanks again.

@michael-lloyd I never thought of lining those up. I always went with the “level the water line” or “horizon” only. Looking closer at the image with your input…very nice and yes, now it really does look off center. Wow.

        Thanks

          Thank you @nikon-nut @michael-lloyd @falx

That particular evening was a nice evening to shoot. I will be posting another shot from that shoot.

On this particular image, what would you use to level? Far water line, near water line, or trees in distance…

          Again, thanks

I should have realigned my shot. I was thinking that getting the dam (structure on the left) in it would give shot a secondary subject. @karlodl I used a gradient filter. However, I am not seeing the blue that you are referring to. I see blue where the rocks meet the trees, but that is the dam.

Thanks for the input. Will do another shot there using these and see the difference.

I do apologize as I thought I was adding a new “topic” in Shark Tank. Didn’t realize you must start a new “thread”. Very confusing, but worked out. So please disregard this post. However, feel free to give your honest opinion on it…..
