agree with @koala – I find the black object distracting and interfering with the actual reflections. I think I understand why you composed it like this, but in 20/20 hindsight, maybe shooting it without the log in the front – or a soft flash to give substance to the object might have worked better.

What great photos in this thread @koala … I would love the chance to be in this place and see what you saw…and captured so well. Wow…those are stunning @koala …especially that last one with the dark clouds moving in and an awesome expanse of sand and water….quite dramatic.
