Grass Valley Reservoir in Northern California. It was great!
These are great!
My husband has one of those, along with a stack of steroscopic photos. It was passed down to him through several generations. It really is a beautiful relic!
Beautiful!
@steppeland Yes, I have it now and it’s awesome! For it’s smallish sensor, the picture quality is really good. I have the prime lens, which is very fast and pretty sharp.
I carry it everywhere now and I am definitely taking a lot more photos. The few street shots I’ve worked up the nerve to take didn’t turn out so well since the subject suddenly walked away, but I’m taking it to the Farmer’s Market tomorrow which tends to be colorful and bustling. I hope to get wet my chops a bit more with snapping random people. Wish me bravery!
Here are a few shots taken with the Pentax Q from the last week or so. I got some great ones of a few kids at my daugher’s preschool (I work in the classroom sometimes) but I won’t share them here even though I really want to!
Like this one a lot 🙂
Her teacher is about as hippy dippy as they make em’, so she insists on all the dolls being anatomically correct.
Nice! Have you tried it yet?
I really like this one @ed-aldridge.
Yes, the new batteries finally arrived yesterday. I’ve been doing a lot of test shots with it of my kids, around the house and yard, etc. For its size, it’s an awesome camera and I’m really in love with it!
@beverley I don’t know that there is a good tutorial out there yet. I’m pretty sure somebody has already jumped on writing one though. I just looked around on Google and nothing jumped out at me. Hmmm…guess it’s time to fill that niche before a gazillion other people do!
You could just play with it though, since it’s pretty self explanatory I think.
Yes, it’s their best plugin so far. I try out a lot of photo software and I end up just uninstalling most of it. It’s pretty amazing that it can bring out so much sharp detail without artifacts, noise or halos.
I love the first one
