@ronichas: Do what you want but you should consider the positive comments you got about your image first. It was very good. And then consider the comments about your huge watermark. I believe that your choice of a watermark that big detracts from the loveliness of the image. That’s the point I am trying to make. You don’t have to agree. But…[Read more]

@ronichas thanks for the image.
The focal point is overly centered, I would suggest that the center of the tulip should have been shot closer to the bottom right corner rather than directly in the middle. This would have provide a flow of lines from the bottom right corner to the top left.
Great sharpness, great colours and great depth of…[Read more]

As a very general rule, I have noticed when looking at photographs (and I look at hundreds every day) that the size of the watermark is often inversely proportional to the skill of the photographer.
I am not meaning to be catty with that comment (and it’s obviously very generalised with a lot of exceptions), but it seems to hold…[Read more]

It is acceptable @ronichas but to post a pic in the ST with that large watermark is extremely distracting. If you look through most peoples albums here you will not see many and if you do they will be small. Roni those are your pics if you choose to retain the one you have then so be it. I was just trying to point out to you about what draws…[Read more]

Hi @ronichas yes the mostly do. Some will post with a small unobtrusive watermark but the large ones just detract to much from the image. Think about what a viewer is going to do when first seeing this image. The first thing they will look at is the watermark. In my mind you are doing your image a disservice. The subject of your pic should be…[Read more]

Welcome to my favourite world of photography although these days I tend to do more close up than ‘true macro’
What a great start with this photo @ronichas – isn’t it super all the details you can see with macro shots.
I do have a set of extension tubes but to be honest I haven’t used them for such a long time now, in fact not since I…[Read more]
