caimi..what was your question? about the watermark? i watermark almost all my images that are online.
ok. the one on this image could have been a bit smaller. but the critique is supposed to be about the image, not so much attention to the watermark. i don’t understand all the hostility about watermarks…as far as the focal point being centered. i was trying to get in as much of the contrast color from the inside of the tulip as i could. i do have other images i took the same day. if you are interested, they are on my website.
http://ronichas.zenfolio.com/p691823408as far as the wider crop…the image was not cropped at all. it was a macro shot of the inside of a tulip. not sure how it could have been wider.
i posted a photo to shark tank for the first time, and i got 3 complaints about watermarking.
hm…doesn’t make me inclined to post again. kind comments only came after i asked about it.
it was not an ENORMOUS watermark.comments..
I really hate the annoying watermark.

I would lend suggestion that folks also refrain from griping about watermarks as well.
Ive read comments about it on almost all images posted with watermarks so far. In no way does a watermarking opinion bare any relevance as to how to improve the shot or the processing of it.
Adding a watermark is a security act not an image creation floor!
just saying ;)*ok, i get the thing about the watermark, 3 responses is enough…
would prefer only comments about the image from this point on.
thanks,
ronihm. just reread the etiquette about posting…I AGREE!!

July 21, 2013 at 3:39 am in reply to: Shark Tank Etiquette (Please read this first) (UPDATED May 23, 2019) #97569i completely agree with you. i put a watermark on all my web images, it is in the lower center part, not interfering with the image.
thanks for your suggestion!awesome shot!!! love the look on the hawks face…
