Hi, This is another from Port Campbell. For those of you who don’t know Aus, Port Campbell is on the southern coast of Victoria. It is an area famous for shipwrecks and the 12 Apostles. This is what they look like.

Spent the weekend at Port Campbell..what an amazing place (even if it was blowing a gale). This photo of the Grotto was one of my favorites.

Liked your photo, Garath..shame Australia doesn’t have too many castles..you are right..castles make a great subject.

Thanks.I am finding that I am becoming more interested in b/w. I have seen some pics that are stunning and didn’t realize how effective they can be. Lots and lots of practice ahead!!

I have just started experimenting with black and white pics and have found it difficult to visualize the scene with no color. Most of the time I shoot in color and then, if I think it might work, I convert it in lightroom 3. This is one of my first efforts.
