Fabulous work Ken.
I too would like to know what caused those lines. The only time I ever experienced that was when I printed a picture.
Really looking forward to an answer. Thanks in advance.
Colette
Thanks @Tobie much appreciated.
Hi Robert,
This shot is so very atmospheric, I couldn’t resist commenting on it. Best of
luck.Colette
Hi Leanne,
Great shot, particularly the look on the little girls face, so laid back. Children
are not easy to photograph, you clicked just at the right time. My compliments.Colette
Hi Kent,
At first I was a little confused as to what the picture was about. Where do I focus etc.I decided to go on to the Flickr site, I read the title, “Calm before the storm”, of course, waiting, Q’s, Combined picture and title, and immediately I sense the anxiety “Calm before the storm. For the challenge 10/10 also, it got me thinking…… well done.

@Robbie, your picture of Giraffe eye is super. I am a newbie so not sure if I am
supposed to critique here, if not I apologise in advance.I only have one suggestion on a lovely shot and that is, maybe if the picture was cropped
to allow the eye be situated on say the line of thirds, it would possibly also remove the
top right corner. I hope this makes sense to you, and as I said, I am a newbie to the site
so I don’t wish to offend.May 23, 2016 at 11:26 am in reply to: Shark Tank Etiquette (Please read this first) (UPDATED May 23, 2019) #257181I totally agree,
Kind Regards Colette.
Thanks Tobie, I will do just that when I am more familiar with the site. Loving it
so far.All the best, Colette
Hi Rob,
thank you for reminding me to add my Flickr account. It is not very organised
a bit like myself really. As you know I am new to this site and appreciate all the help given to find my way
around. All the best to fellow members. https://www.flickr.com/photos/daisygreeneyes77/
Hi Everybody,
My name is Colette, am married and have an adult daughter.
A friend introduced me to photography about five years ago and it has
given me such fab times.Macro /close up is probably my first love but, I think at this stage, I am looking for a change. Studio / portrait and the use of lighting really appeals to me now but, I have a lot to learn. (slow learner lol)
Looking forward to chatting with all.
