@grizzly really like the image, if you are using Lightroom ( I think you mentioned you are) you could try dropping the highlights and making the road a little blacker.. I’d love to see a bigger version if you have one loitering around somewhere
@admin, I went on a photo workshop and the professional who was running it put a vignette on nearly…[Read more]

@michael-lloyd , @grizzly , Thanks.
Interesting to see that the âselective color effectâ, specifically the red lips when not in close up, smudge. It looks like it was not painted correctly. That is not the case. Everything Red is actually red in the shot.
It is due to the compression used on You Tube that it looks like that.In all fai…[Read more]

@caesar Yeah, I agree with @grizzly – would have been slightly better to shoot this with a narrower aperture so as to get both the eye of the chick and eye of the hen in focus. Check It Out

Hi @grizzly.
I like the B&W version, though I also think the vignette is a little heavy.
Have you tried this in a panoramic style crop? I think it may have more impact in 16:9.Check It Out -

@grizzly has said it. In general the horizon works better if placed on one of the 3rd’s horizontal lines. And always level it if needed.Check It Out

I kind of agree with @grizzly on that – initially I thought the horizontal area of black was actually a frame. I think if you could get that background right, this would be an epic shot.
Would love to have a look at the ones you thought had less impact, @valerypCheck It Out

@grizzly
I’ve tried to bring some light to shadows-had shot a couple of versions-but had found them with less of impact-so I left with this shot. Thanks for comment. btw I’d discovered that in low key images the browser makes them darker than I see on my screen.Check It Out
