Hi, Portrait’s I believe are one of the most difficult area’s of photography and it’s great you had a try, please keep on trying. But the parts it failed on for me were, I’d like to see more of her face, when she’s sitting with her knees up in front of her, I don’t know, if I’m supposed to looking at her face or her knees, try the largest aperture you can and come in a little closer, try just to give a hint of whats around her, the bars of the window, little distracting, she’s the picture remember that, the purpose of the shot is to bring her alive.

Hi, Sorry but the shot doesn’t work for me, lights to hard on the blouse, the background behind the model looks to be cutting her into segments, and the brick wall she’s sitting on does not even give the feeling of even a virtual pool. plus the walls not square, looks like she’s sitting up hill.

Hi, Sorry but the shot doesn’t work with the shrub, starts to distort the vertigo, what are your eyes trying to focus on, but the question is, was the shot worth taking, then the answer had to be yes. If you don’t try, then you’ll never get the perfect shot.

Hi, Both the shots are good, but if I had to print a large shot then I would choose number 2, but seeing the b/w shot, then for feeling and emotion (if allowed) I would go for the b/w. Wouldn’t hang it on the wall, but I would certainly keep it
