Very nice.
@bugadrienne Your spot on. Or Leaf curling spider as it’s more commonly known. Very common in our part of the world. @tersha
@jbent Spideys aren’t really freaky, they are everywhere and we would not survive very well without them and lots and lots of other crawling little critters.
@karamen A bit of digesting perhaps or just waiting for something or someone to drop by.
@jbent I hope you are enjoying them.
@tmyusuf what are you waiting two days for?
@dchester1001 Not quite a “pet” in the strict sense of the word but I was shooting a river a couple of hours from here and one of the locals came down and tipped this female carpet snake out of a bag, he caught her in a house in town and the owners of the house weren’t very impressed about sharing there house with a python. No sense of adventure at all!!
@jamfke nice bokeh.
@admin will rescue you! Hang on
Sounds like sound advice. I would go with it.
@claudia-betia sounds like a very good “all round” set up. Shame about the no sd cards. I use a 64 gb sd card and a 4gb back up in the second slot (d7000). Far from ideal I know with such a large sd card but I take the risk. I have never filled it up. I intend to purchase two 16 gb cards to cover the potential card failure nightmare and change them out regularly but I am just pushing my luck using just the one. I will keep the 64gb card for video and extended trips.
I would stay in raw and not delete on the run, apart from the real obvious failures. I am sure you have had the same experience of a shot that you would almost guarantee was a failure turns out to be something special. It’s happened to me more than once. I never delete before I get them up on the big screen. Have you an external hard drive? 2 tb hard drives are a fairly reasonable price and could be ideal for what you are doing. I’m not sure if there is a small inexpensive “up loader”. Worth inquiring about!
Anyway, sounds like a great trip, looking forward to seeing the shots.@claudia-betia I’ll second that, Everything that @aarongeis suggested, memory is cheap now days. Good to see you are shooting in raw.
@bridgetcam Yes good advice, always select a new “from” patch even in the basic scratches and blemishes mode which works just as good for basic touching up. I find if I take my time and select a from patch from right next to what I’m doing to try and keep the texture tone etc. at least similar I have better results. Hope this helps and doesn’t confuse things.
