Congratulations Rob @admin! What fantastic news, and glad to here the three of you are all well…
Which famous photographer have you named him after? Ansel… Henri… Man?! 😉All great submissions!
@keithinmelbourne I have to say I think yours is particularly charming!Oh @justian, that is so sad to hear! I hate computers and their ability to completely ruin your day. Good luck getting everything off the old hard drive, hope it isn’t too expensive…
@iangad That’s a great shot. Something very different from the rest of the submissions! But I do like it…
Spotted this old thing at a country home I visited the other week. Not sure how much action it sees these days!
Bronica SQ-A
80mm @ f5.6
1/250th
Expired Kodak Portra 400 VC (hence the slight colour cast)@silverbells That is a very sweet picture… And @joanna, I’m think the guy in yours looks like he’s been caught unprepared there! His arms down by his sides says ‘Wait a second, I wasn’t expecting this!’. Lol.
I caught this moment by chance. I had spotted the tunnel originally and the couple passed through just as I was framing up.
Good throwdown @camerasinger. Love vanishing points! Here’s one from my trip to the US last year… On the way from Yosemite to Half Moon Bay.
@camerasinger I love that style of bridge! Wish we had more of them over this side of the pond…
This chap appeared just as I was leaving after taking people-less shots…
@ed-aldridge That sucks you had a knock to your confidence. I had a similar thing a few years back when taking photos at a festival. I am not a fan of direct confrontation either so it really did put me off shooting people. I don’t really enjoy it even now. Probably for the exact reason @admin Rob said. I don’t want people thinking I’m someone creepy.
Speaking of being creepy, I was on the tube the other day and was taking photos via the wifi on my camera. What are peoples thoughts on that? When you dint even give people a chance to see you are photographing them?
Don’t let some twittering dick with half a dozen followers put you off.. I look forward to your escapades trending on twitter you trouble maker! Lol…Nice David @dchester1001… Is that a sunset out of a window? Incredible colours if it is!
This was at the beach the other week. It looks like a skate ramp but it’s actually a sculpture. No idea who it’s by, but looks like a hull of a boat.
Great work @mikell! Really enjoyable collection there. The little girl in pink could not look more delighted if she tried!
Will you be making them available for people to have their own copies?Welcome to the forum Keith @jellytoes… We’re not a creepy bunch so we don’t mind being followed and following others.
The way to fix it is pretty simple, and only really needs five mouse clicks. Find a thread that interests you with some interesting comments from users then below the other users avatar (picture on the left) click the FOLLOW button. Once you’ve done five it’ll go!Some suggestions for good members (though this by means suggests they are the best on here or others are not as good, they are just great site contributors):
@dchester1001 @tersha @drus @admin @justian @lisahill @redman @felixsanchez @mikell @camerasinger @beverleyDon’t go apologising David! It was interesting to see, and I find it crazy they can manage to fit such massive meals in to their otherwise slender bodies?! Let me know when he goes up a victim size…
@bugadrienne Adrienne these are lovely. I really like the tone ranges, so much more range than I ever manage! And it doesn’t look like you suffer from shy subjects. Add another thumbs up to that first cat shot from me, very intense stare!
