At best, then, the term is used as click-bait. Or, in my case, click-aversion. A shame when there are so many other terms to use to advance the intent and even to lead folks away from the association that word bears.

The cliffs were magnificent with water actively dripping down the walls in some places, and some stretches were covered with bright green moss. @patrickw-2  I think that is the one caveat I would make. A mobile phone makes you really think about composition and move to get it (digital zoom is not great). So I really walk around.

@patrickw-2 I think this is a very effective black-and-white. The bright lights really pull your eye along the leading lines all the way up the platform. I’d say the only thing you could improve here is to have someone 2/3 of the way up the platform waiting for a train in silhouette. But even as it is, it’s a very effective image.

@reyers, @dahliaambrose, @federicoalegria @patrickw-2   If/when you come to Portland, Maine, we will go out to dinner here on the waterfront in this floating restaurant. This is a little history behind the restaurant  – a former car ferry in it’s “first life”.   Pricey but a unique experience.
