Niceee congrats! I also have a D7500, a great piece of equipment and that Sigma..amazing lens!
Enjoy!
Thanks @Frank ! π 157 shots, 30s exposure each image. A total of a bit less than 1h and 30min. It was not easy to illuminate the foreground, to be honest. I was with another friend and we struggled finding the best condition.
Thanks John, Dahlia, Rob, Jasenka and Kent for the nice comments.
Thanks Rob, I usually use Photopills for this kind of shots. However, for this one, I’ve used my knowledge as amateur astronomer! π
Simply beautiful! Congrats
As the others already said, the mood you have created is amazing.
I love this shot Petr. I think it is very powerful. I still prefer your version being the Frank edit great but a bit too much.
I hope you’re much better now Kent! I haven’t opened the forum in a while and I’ve just seen this!
I really like the first one! Very nice!
Woow! I’m really surprised and honored for this POTW.
Thank you very much for appreciating and recognizing my work π
I’ll try to keep sharing decent shots.
Thanks again!
Ahah, thanks for being honest. I do like something about this pic that will not make me bin it but I agree with most of your comments! π
Thanks
Thank you very much Tom π
Thanks for the comment. I’ll try to selectively increase the exposure and see if some of the details in the shadows and midtones pop up.
Thanks
Thank you very much beth for this comment. I have to admit that I didn’t think about the balancing of the image. You are definitely right and I will try with different crops and I’ll try to improve the quality of the sky.
The thing that I liked about this pic was exactly the movement of the water and the spray lightened by the Sun.
Thank you very much for your comment
Thanks Jasenka. I still have troubles correctly setting my monitor. Unfortunately I can only use my laptop for editing my shots and I’m struggling with settings and the images on other supports appear to be a bit darker. π
Thanks Dahlia π
Yes, correct, complimentary colors or kind of. Thank you very much π
Thanks for the nice suggestion. I will try to do that!
Thank you very much beth. I went there the second week of November. Only for few days unfortunately.
Thank you Robert, I also really like the light house.
