Beautiful composition and colors! How come ISO is 3200 for these lighting conditions?

Thank you Jasenka ,( i might have had it set for night shooting ) it was much darker in Real-time  i had it set on auto ISO and i just let it bounce about to what was needed for my shutter speed and then deal with the noise later , i was also jumping from Aperture and shutter priority , some shots he was still and others moving fairy quickly and i find using shutter priority with moving dogs is my goto mode because i am not normally bothered about D.O.F so much when they are moving.

try setting your camera up and just leaving it.  i do this for wildlife and it’s worked pretty good for me, no matter what the animal is doing.  auto iso with the min/max set up, low f/stop and 1/3200 shutter speed.  use your ev comp. to darken or brighten the image as needed.

Thanks very much Beth , i will try what you mention , on this outing i was on the move a lot due to the area i was in a good few other dog walkers ect so could not really hang about in one spot for very long but i will have a go at what you suggested thank you 🙂 ..regarding the high ISO  i have not checked but i am almost sure the last time i was going to use the camera was for some night shots (that i never went to shoot) i had setup the ISO for that and maybe i set the min and max on the high end

The light levels in this shot are what i wanted so was happy with how it turned out

Hi mate , yes he never stops working in and out of the braken in and out of streams for a quick drink and off he goes but will never go too far away without turning to see if i am still following him 🙂 Thanks for the kind words Dave

Thanks a lot Tersha , i rarely use this lens and i said it before but the images that come out of it always make me want to take more with it more often , would love a 50mm on a full frame 🙂
