Nice David  , i shot the one above with the Raynox 150 on the end of a fz1000.

Still need to try it on my new macro lens.

Decent results for such a small cash.

I finally managed to photograph a Teddy Bear Bee! This was in my front yard today. Adult female, approx 15mm long – as big as they get. These bees are quick and they do not stay still for long!

This image really grabs me, Patrick – the brown hues and different textures — especially the mottled blackish textures that seems “dirty” like houseflies….    Sharp image of the fly.

Thank you very much Anne, the leaves were indeed very grubby.

Cheers Pat. Taken from a bunch of pics I took in the backyard yesterday of some bees hopping around our rosemary plant. Had to dust the cobwebs off the camera first. It’s been so long!

Rob, the purple hues of fly & bud against the green backdrop are wonderful, as is the balance of the fly and bud sheens.   Love those eyes.
