Just to give an idea of the scale, here’s a heavily cropped view of a sightseeing boat near the glacier from the same image. You can just see it as a black spot in my original post.

Thanks Rob, that shows just how massive the glacier is, not so obvious in the top photo. Were you in a sightseeing boat, I can only imagine how amazing it must be to be so close to the glacier. 🙂

Actually we were in a Norwegian Cruise Ship. Way too big IMHO. 4600 passengers and 20 stories high. Hats off to the captain though. He took that ship in pretty close and then spun it 360 degrees on the spot. The fjord was quite narrow at that point too. The atmosphere around the glacier was unique. It had been breezy getting there but once we arrived it became strangely calm and very cold.

I like the blue.  It makes it look cool, temperature and compo wise.

I love the scale, but I would bring up the whites in LR a little.

the blue tones are great in both.  but i like this one, it has more punch to it.
