I think you’re right Dave; it would be a dandy picture with a bit of fog.  It’s amazing how the personality of a cemetery changes with the time of the day.  Or more like the things you think you hear when darkness sets in…

Taken in Sept in the Necropolis in Glasgow and reworked it a little to give it some atmosphere.

Here’s the original shot Tersha. This shot is of the monument for Charles Tennant and his sons located in the Glasgow Necropolis. After posting the image I realized that I should have processed it in SilverFX as well to see what extra atmosphere I could extract.

I added two (2) layers of clouds to add the smoke/fog as well as an additional layer for texture.

The Glasgow Necropolis is a Victorian cemetery in Glasgow, Scotland. It is on a low but very prominent hill to the east of Glasgow Cathedral (St. Mungo’s Cathedral). Fifty thousand individuals have been buried here. Typically for the period only a small percentage are named on monuments and not every grave has a stone. Approximately 3500 monuments exist here.

🙂  He was a serial killer. The woman in the background is my wife. I’m wearing the mask, which I bought at a Dollar Store, as well as the plastic knife. It’s amazing what you can do with some grunge effects.  🙂

Several years ago my wife and her friend at work decided that for Halloween they were going to go to work dressed as the ghostly twins from “the Shining”. It was too good of an opportunity to pass up. I went to their office and we shot this during their lunch hour.
