An ongoing (and ongoing and ongoing) series of black and white photographs of flowers grown in our backyard and in the gardens of our neighborhood here in Toronto Canada.
This ‘little project’ started last fall while walking our dog around our hood. I started concentrating on taking pics of the flowers in some of our beautiful neighborhood gardens (some of our neighbors are VERY serious about their gardening). When I finally got around to processing the pics, I processed them the way most people present their flower photos, soft focus, bright colors etc etc. I wasn’t really happy with the results so I decided to go in the complete opposite direction, hard edges, grainy and in black and white with a solid black background.
This year I have created a folder in Lightroom called ‘Dog Walk Flowers’ that has 200+ unprocessed images in it. Now comes the fun part, trying to find the time to get all this done (and the summer isn’t over yet).

Allows Edits? Yes@thelearningcurve They look epic. I think your instinct to go in another direction paid off. Very much.
