Do you have a preference?

I’m want to use this on a wall calendar.  Do you have a preference?

I prefer the 2nd one Lenny, for the frame, but I like the light on the left in the top one.

Normally I would select the second one, because why take our eye away from the main subject including that corner without an interesting feature. But, I like that corner. It provides an interesting angle of the wall and interesting lighting as Tersha mentions. So, I choose the first image!

Hard decision Lenny. Maybe #1 for it’s sense of place. #2 is what one would usually expect the frame to be so why not be different.

Thanks for all the comments!  I will be sending a wall calendar to friends and family in the US and many of the recipients have never been to Mexico so I think I will use the first one for a “sense of place” like Rob said.
