Hi Rob,  I like the silhouettes in the foreground and the contrasting lighted building and customers.  ST, I would like to read the Gelatissimo sign which would explain the waiting people.  Overall a nice compo with a story.

I agree with Lenny, given your title, I’d like to be able to read the sign. What is Gelatissimo anyway?

really nice b&w tones, love the contrast.  i agree about the gelatissimo sign.  apart from that, check your verticals, they don’t seem like they’re entirely straight.

and for the record – if they don’t have lemon pie gelato then it’s not my kind of gelato shop.

It’s Italian ice cream, correct?  I’ll  try anything in a cone.  Just tried prune ice cream.   Thumbs down.  You can cross i’s and dot t’s all day but this tells the story well.

Hmmm… I don’t think I could gel with prune icecream.

it’s a little different than ice cream.  i think ice cream uses a cheaper grade of cream and more air.  gelato is denser and supposed to use a better grade of cream.

Nothing to correct here mate, love the dynamism you managed to capture! Although, I see a strange flare crossing the guy’s backpack, it feels a bit distracting, any guess what might have produced that?

I think it’s just a lens flare. There were lot of lights to either side that might have caused it.
