  Taken just the other day these 3 pups all looking towards me. The one in the rear is about 5-7 feet behind the others. Focus was hard to get for all 3. A bit cloudy day with side light. Suggestions? f8 1/1600 1600iso Is is that important to have 1ll 3 in focus?

  i would have either gotten them all in focus or gone as wide open as possible to blur the kit in the back more. good focus on the front kit. maybe lighten the shadows on the front kit’s face a little and add some contrast to the front kit’s eyes. i keep looking at the kit on the left. nice light and a good, clean background.

  Hi Tim, this is a very beautiful image. To get all the three pups in focus, you will have to go wide.
  
  I like the composition and the light. Maybe very slightly brighten the central part of the face for the two pups in the front 🙂
