This a lovely shot when seen large, I can see the sand and the shell detail.

Thank you Diane.  A couple of minor tweaks in post really enhanced the detail.

This is just a beautiful image Charmaine.  Can you tell us how you captured it?  From my trips to Africa, I’ve always said, “You can’t take a bad picture in Africa,” but this is exceptional. Thank you.

Hi Gray. Thank you for the lovely comments and I agree that “you can’t take a bad picture in Africa” but I am a wee bit biased. I do a lot of nature and wildlife photography so I am a firm believer in being out very early to catch the beautiful morning light and a lot of luck comes into play with animals, so when it all comes together magic happens.

Very interesting image Gray, love the tone and all the shapes throughout the image! I can see this hanging on a wall.

This is a favourite for me, Gray. Just love this. Since it is a two-man, they are alone but together? I used to row in highschool and loved the early mornings when it was calm and quiet. This is definitely one for the wall and I can’t help but keep coming back to this!

I was out Saturday attempting to get images for the throwdown, unfortunately the location I chose had the Red Bull Reign 3 on 3 Street basketball tournament on. As such it was quite crowded both with people and buildings, so combined with a bit of patience, I had to do a little bit of looking to be able to find some ‘negative space’.

This first one; he’s waiting for the tournament to start.

One of the DJ who was providing the music for the tournament.

This is a shot from the back of the DJ and his friend.

And this is an image, although not ‘negative space, I included to show ‘the Cube’ that the DJ was set up in.

This was a group of three flowers but just as I focused in the puppy walked by and bit the top third of one of the plants off and wandered out of frame without stopping.

Not sure what happened there.  I hit submit for my own photo of ducks, but the computer repeated Seth’s good photo of the fern.  Lightstalking staff, would you remove the fern that looks like it goes with Holly K?
