Anything purple! Maybe purple/pink sunsets, purple flowers….
Purple is not such a commonly used colour, so I thought it would be interesting to see what you all come up with! πŸ™‚

Thanks Diane. The Iris festival where I took this shot had about 10 acres of Iris and other flowers. The down side was that there were so many people and so many flowers it was difficult getting a decent composition. The up side was they had good food and adult beverages.Β  πŸ™‚

I was stuck at home and the only thing purple i had was 1 drinking straw , i quickly made some stylized text and Background popped it on my desktop cranked the projector up and took a photo with me pointing at said text.

          Crazy i know lol.

I always try to make something NEW for each weeks Challenge , the image i posted below (water drop ) was an old image as still stuck at home i think it is better if the image is freshly made normally.

Well said Dave, I’m with you.

Kent, is there some secret magic rule of photography which is only revealed to those gurus who have spent a lifetime pursuing the art that enables you to make such images? Like Dave, I like it…..a helluva lot….and I don’t know why!

Maybe its because, along with the title, it feels like I’m holding a paperback in my hands and a story is about to unfold.

        …….yeah……..’story’…….could be something in that?

Graham, that’s the nicest compliment you could have given me. Thank you so much! And yes, it was definitely the sense of story that caused me to take this picture. Seeing the woman in her brightly colored rain jacket, perhaps an image of hopefulness, but her posture, slightly hunched over, walking her beloved dog, and being surrounded by urban decay… caused me to reflect on her life.
