Stairway to Heaven 500×688 ST.JPG by Barbara Searle on Light Stalking Lol – not sure about ‘Heaven but taken on a misty morn with my little Pentax Optio (before I bought my DSLR!) a couple of years back
Exif: Prob on ‘Auto’ = f/3.8 – 1/160sec – ISO 64 – max ap 2.8.
I hate Urban but have got to like it because it’s All urban junk & clutter where I live! The Mist hid all the metal clutter everywhere… Hope this opens up ok as it’s 500 shortest x 688 longest!
(Is there an easier way of adding the image info that you upload to your album – in with the code that you upload to the Forum without going back and forth between both whilst cutting and pasting? ) Thanks! 🙂 -

As for the photo, the fact that those verticals on the right are so close to the border draws my eye to the fact that they are not perfectly vertical. 😉

I do like the photo. The foggy background emphasizes well the architecture of the staircase. I would suggest first as admin mentioned to make sure your staircase is leveled, which it is not right now. I would also crop out the lower portion of the building and some foreground. I would increase contrast and turn the picture into a B&W to de-emphasize the red brick building which is not the center of interest but draws the eyes because of its color.

Hi! – Apologies – just seen this! (still finding my way around!) Thank you so much for your kind comments! – I will give it a go with the crop and verticals ( I have free version of PSE8 which is still a mystery to me – and will prob need to check out how to do it on You Tub first !) – and… will repost the edit? 🙂 All the Best!
