As originally posted in the forums, @annehornsby , @admin talked about a square crop on this image, I played with it a bit and couldn’t get to where I was happy with it, so hit me with your edits, I would like to see what you come up with, anyone else as well, the original is below.

Mate I think @annehornsby ‘s updates kind of addressed whatr I was talking about. The shadows along the river banks mainly. Best to avoid those 100% black pixels or anything close to it if you can. It can be very dark, but you want SOME detail in there somewhere if possible.

Thanks, @martye, appreciate your telling me it is a mobius strip, as I did not know! Glad that you like it 🙂
That’s a great tip @federicoalegria, I have looked up the game and our son’s two kids will love it, especially the older one. I have recommended it to them 🙂

@annehornsby Thank you, I hope you had wonderful Christmas. OK, I stacked 9 shots, probably 2-3 to many. I used one of those rail Gizmo’s 🙂 EOS 550D, 100mm (=160mm) lens, F4, ISO 100, 1/13 Natural & a splash of LED lighting. I didn’t change any settings. I moved the macro rail in 1 notch at a time. Then stacked in photoshop.

@annehornsby I Love looking at this: clean lines, subtle hues, rectangular pattern repeated in the windows and the sharp edge. Reminds me of the cells on an Excel sheet or graph/blueprint paper

Got home from holiday and finally got around to editing further. The part up-top still needs to have a tidy of the window shadows, but I think, thanks to your ideas that it is looking good. Comments/suggestions?

Yup, I really like @annehornsby‘s suggestion, I wouldn’t mind seeing it in black and white though; mainly because it will accurately enhance the shape and texture of the staircase for good.

Thanks for the mention Anne @annehornsby, I’m out and about a lot because I look after a young man with Special Needs, and he likes to go out in the car and listen to music, and I take my camera . Sometimes I’m not inspired to get it out, though I usually take something with my phone. 🙂

Crystal replied to the topic Sliced Orange in the forum The Shark Tank Feedback Forum 3y, 7mo ago
@annehornsby makes perfect sense. As for the focal point it’s the Orange. I think it’s obvious I didn’t put much thought into the photo, honestly the photo came into my head and I took it and did this photo. Majority of my photos come about that way, not sure if it’s just the way my Autistic mind works or what.
